Shoes are not an intelligent innovation

Sometimes things sound like a cool idea, until you realize they cost you money and cause more problems than they solve. I wouldn't have thought that shoes fell into that category...you designers should love this one!

  1. I realize I tend to be on the cynical side, but this is the third article I've seen about this "study" and it always ends the same way... with a wonderful tale about this company that makes shoes that simulate walking barefoot. Great marketing. Basic, but great. Does this sound familiar: Step A) Find study that supports your product or buries your competitor's products. Step B) Promote features and benefits of your product camouflaged in a blanket of scientific support. At least shoes don't have fatal adverse events.
