First, thanks for agreeing to contribute ...Koreen,<br /><br />First, thanks for agreeing to contribute to the book, we recruited you specifically for your vision and insights into virtual immersive environments and hoped for a grande vision of the future and you delivered! Your "fanatical rantings" were just what we wanted!<br /><br />I agree that understanding how the grand-daddy of all ID models fits into the innovative and progress concept of virtual worlds is critical for getting instructional designers "over the hump" of widely adopting virtual worlds.<br /><br />Instructional designers need to understand how to create meaningful immersive experiences in these virtual worlds but they are plowing new ground and, Tony and I hope, that with contributions from people like you and a reading of the book that they'll begin to better understand the requirements for making learning effective, meaningful and productive within virtual immersive environments.<br /><br />Thanks again for being a stop on the tour.Karl Kapphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10586071112339563727noreply@blogger.com
