Here's a story I heard recently: Five coaches are standing along a fence, each with a different combination of age, gender identity, race, and weight. One player says to the other "Which coach is yours?" That teen says back, "The one in the tye-dye shirt" giving absolutely no weight to the many physical attributes that a middle aged person would probably use. The teen could have easily said "The woman" or "The African-American" or "The young one"...but they are all just people and those traits didn't matter.
